Who We Are
Located in North Sheffield, Grenoside Equestrian Centre is a friendly and welcoming equestrian school. Our team of qualified and experienced instructors offer lessons (from aged 5 years) and woodland rides & hacks (from aged 4 years upwards).
CLOTHING
Riders will not be allowed to ride in shorts or skirts – all riders must wear trousers/leggings/jeans and have their legs fully covered. We are sorry for any inconveniences that this may cause but this is non-negotiable to ensure riders comfort and safety at all times.
Book Our Services
You can visit Grenoside Equestrian Centre in Sheffield. From the M1 take junction 36 and follow signs to Sheffield North along the A61. We are only 10 mins from Sheffield City Centre, near Hillsborough.
Whether your looking to learn from scratch or re kindle an old love this is the riding school for you. Acres of woods and fields for hacking and a 20X40 metre menage to learn new skills, practice old ones and have bags of fun!
We are an accredited branch of The Pony Club and also run stable management lessons for riders and enthusiasts who love to muck around the stables and spend every second they can with our loveable ponies.
DBS checked, 5* licensed and fully insured so you and your kids are in safe hands.
As well as providing horses and ponies to learn on, the team source and condition ponies for clients to buy in confidence. Under their professional schooling and exceptional expertise you can find a steed for all abilities and intentions. Whether you want a confident cob to explore the countryside on or a pretty pony for competitions we can source the best fit steed for you.
Please note that, due to Health & Safety policy, we must enforce restrictions upon rider age, weight & clothing.
With this in mind, we cannot allow any riders under 4 years of age or riders 13 stone (80kgs) & above. Riders will also not be allowed to ride wearing shorts or skirts – these are non negotiable. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
We now operate a strict minimum 24 hour cancellation policy and failure to do so will result in the full riding session to be charged.
All riders must complete a Rider Registration Form prior to riding with us. ALL medical conditions MUST be declared on this form.
